Farmers Market
by Parker Hinckley

A ubiquitous sign of summertime across the country are local farmers markets. Make it a family affair as you browse the fresh, locally grown produce. Dating back to 1730 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, farmers markets provide a place for communities to socialize while giving small farmers an outlet for their fresh fruits and vegetables. Many farmers markets also feature baked goods and homemade favorites like jam and salsa. Picture yourself browsing the stalls and enjoying the neighborly atmosphere as you assemble this folk art puzzle. This puzzle is part of our Iconic Places Collection.
