These shorts are inspired by the local skate scene in California around 1992-94.
At that time, skaters wore baggy denim jeans with a W38-44 waist, cinched with a belt, and cut off the hems themselves.
We've reproduced that "just right size" and faded balance using twill denim that looks like it's been worn in.
Imagining a time before JNCO became popular, when the word "wide" still had a sense of reality, we've created a wide fit that is wider than Levi's 550 but still comfortable to wear.
