These shorts are inspired by the local skate scene in California around 1992-94.
Back then, skaters would wear baggy denim jeans, around W38-44, cinched with a belt, and cut off the hems themselves.
We've replicated that "just right size" and faded balance with a twill denim that has a worn-in look.
The design evokes the era before JNCO became popular, when the word "wide" still held a sense of novelty. We've aimed for a wider fit than Levi's 550, yet still comfortable and wearable for us.
